Merchant referral program

This page describes how referrals work when you introduce another business to ShopZero. Specific reward amounts, tiers, and payout timing may be set out in a separate agreement, your dashboard, or email from our team.

Overview

ShopZero may offer benefits to merchants or partners who refer new paying customers. Referrals are usually tracked when someone signs up through a link or campaign that preserves referral or UTM parameters (for example from the marketing site through to app.shopzero.bd). Participation is voluntary and subject to these guidelines.

Eligibility

You must have a ShopZero merchant account (or a written partner agreement) in good standing, act in compliance with applicable law, and not misrepresent ShopZero or its operators. We may restrict or end participation for accounts involved in abuse, chargebacks, or fraud.

Qualifying referrals

A referral generally counts when the referred business becomes a new paying subscriber on a qualifying plan, stays active beyond any trial or grace period we specify, and is not an existing customer or duplicate signup. Self-referrals, related entities created to game the program, or referrals obtained through misleading claims do not qualify.

Rewards

Benefits may include account credits, fee reductions, or other incentives described in your referral terms. Rewards are not transferable, have no cash value unless we state otherwise, and may be taxable in your jurisdiction. We may cap rewards per period or require verification before issuing them.

Marketing and brand use

Do not register domains or ads that impersonate ShopZero, bid on our trademarks without permission, or send spam. Use honest, accurate messaging. We may request changes to your materials or revoke referral eligibility if brand guidelines are violated.

Changes and termination

We may modify, suspend, or end the referral program or these guidelines with reasonable notice where practicable. If the program ends, we will honor eligible referrals that were already verified according to the rules in effect at the time, unless we are required to do otherwise by law.
